I hand paint my reborns' realistic skin tones using Heat Set Genesis paints. Genesis paints are chemically formulated to be heat set to make them permanent, they are Non-Toxic. I apply the paint in several transparent layers to give the natural looking undertones and overtones that a real baby's skin has. I pay close attention to every tiny crease giving them that oh so precious baby glow!
I create babies of all nationalities and colors! I love them all.
Medium to Dark Skintones... When I create a medium to dark skintone reborn I pay great attention to realistic details. In real life, darker skintoned people/babies have limited pigment in the palms of their hands and the soles of their feet. You will never find a dark palm or sole. This is because the pigment is scarce in these areas. My reborns will also share these features because I want them to be as life like as possible.
Cloth Body... I custom design and create the majority of bodies that I use. Using the same patterns that have sold world wide to sculpters, reborn artists and doll makers alike. Every body I create is proportioned and balanced with weight to make my reborns feel like a real baby. Like real life babies, you will need to take special care in supporting their little heads.
Weighting.... I use tiny Glass Beads (Safe for Customs) and polyfil inside all of my reborns' head, body and limbs to create their realistic feel and appearance.
Tummy Plate... If a tummy plate is included with my reborn it is used for the sole purpose of posing and picture taking. It may appear that the body is full vinyl but it is merely set into place for the pictures and it is not attached.
I always take extreme close up pictures so you can see the great detail in my rooting!
Premium Angora Mohair is used for my reborns, some is imported and from the USA. I usually use 2 to 3 shades of color to give depth and realism to their hair. The hair is evenly rooted throughout the entire head. I don't belong in come overs so you will find hair rooted above their ear. I finely (Ultra) root the Beautiful hair in a natural growth pattern 1 to 3 strands of silky mohair at a time. It takes days not hours, to achieve this very "Natural" look. When I am finished rooting the hair I secure it from the inside with a waterproof sealant. The hair can then be gently wet, combed and styled to your liking.
Eyes... I use Premium quality eyes in my reborns. I always remove the factory eyes in each of my dolls, to replace them with better quality eyes.
Eyebrows... Using Genesis paints, I paint delicate eyebrows one stroke at a time, using a very fine brush and different shades of the hair color.
Lips... I use several different shades of selected colors to create life like lips. Each baby's lips are created differently and according to their individual skintones.
Nose... Depending on the depth of the doll's nostrils, if needed, I will open them and seal them from the inside with dark felt. If the nostrils are deep to begin with, I will shade them with paint to give the appearance of an opening.
Using a very delicate creamy Genesis paint, I give my reborns tiny little finger and toe nails, a newly clipped look. I paint each little nail by hand with a tiny paint brush, I never use a pen. Layers of Genesis very durable Heat Set Varnish are applied to protect and seal their little nails.

My Nursery Guarantee...
I guarantee that no pictures were altered or changed to affect the appearance of my reborn babies. I use the highest quality supplies in creating each and every reborn. Every reborn is treated with gentle love and care while at the nursery and is in prestine condition when he or she begins the journey to their new home. Once a doll has been reborn, it is no longer a play doll or childs toy. Reborn dolls are a work of art, a Collector's item and are not recommended for children. I can not warrant my reborn's longevity if purchased for a child. This is due to little loving hands and constant cuddles. Children may give too much love which may cause defaults with a Reborn doll. If, upon arrival, there is a problem with your new reborn, please contact me immediately. I will at that time do everything I am able to make the situation right. I will provide refunds only under the following circumstances but not limited to, Shipping and handling are payed both ways by buyer, the reborn is returned USPS Priority Insured Mail, Signature Required, within 24 hours of receiving the baby, the reborn baby arrives back to me in the same condition it was sent, packaging that it was originally sent in, all original items including the doll, are not tampered with in any way. I do not give refunds for buyers remorse due to the high cost of listing fees.
Lifetime Repair...
For the life of the doll as long as it has not changed owners, I will be glad to fix any problems or accidents that may have happened. If of course it is able to be fixed. The Original Adopted Parent must provide all incurred costs such as shipping expenses of the doll round trip, shippment and cost of supplies if needed. There may be a charge for the repairs. An estimated cost will be given prior to any repairs made. Accidents sometimes happen, so I am here for you and my "Lil Ones" if you need me! This is valid as long as my life and health permits.
